citalopram ?

i have recently started takikg citaloplam for depressiom . From the beginning i have had headache and stomach problems Can i still take tylenol ? ? im just not sure what over the counter drugs are safe with this medication . i would appreciate any help Thanks

I have been taking it for two months. I have been taking Advil and Tylenol with no problems. You can call the pharmacy and they can tell you for sure.

a doc put me on citalo. I took it for 4 days. Sick, dead beat, even hallucinations. But mark you,the doc said I was the first patient in years  of his practice that had this reaction. Also a friend in her 60s has taken it for 12 years with good results.

Those particular side effects are very common with citalopram and hopefully will soon abate.
We cannot tell you to take ANY kind of medication, even aspirin or Tylenol. Call your local pharmacist and ask him/her if there are any contraindications, which I doubt there are.
Remember that pharmacists are DOCTORS of pharmacology and any questions you have regarding scripts or OTCs they can answer.
