constant paranoia and violent thoughts

Hello
I am unsure of which topic this goes in so i wrote it here. I joined this website just now because i am having terrible thoughts. I am paranoid all the time. i think that everyone and everything is going to kill me and i never feel safe especially in my home. I have also recently experienced incredibly violent thoughts. I have the urge to kill everyone i see. I have fantasies about murdering my friends and people i know. i have fantasized about going on rampages, killing sprees or murdering people. I am very aware that this all sounds incredibly scary and it is. I do not want to act out any of these thoughts but i want to more and more every day. please do not overreact on me. I have no reasons for these thoughts. I come from a good, loving, succesful family. I go to a good school, I am healthy and have a good IQ and i cant find any reasons for these thoughts. perhaps i am crazy. please respond and give me any helpful advice you can.

ive tried:
taking up hobbies
bieng with friends more often
spending time with family
other websites
and almost everything i can think of

Please give me some advice on how to vent my thoughts out of me...

im 18 years old and iv had the same problem as long as I could remember. so don't worry your not going crazy this usually happens because you aren't letting out your anger enough. also you should try to keep yourself distracted by listening to music and focus on it. if these don't help let me know and I can  give you more advice because if this isn't treated properly it can do serious damage.

Thank you so much for your advice. I was very scared of seeing a docter about my thoughts but seeing as you were so kind about it I have built up the courage to do so.

Your advice about meditating and letting go sounds good and i will try it. I already work out a lot but that only stops the thoughts for while im in the process of working out. either way THANK YOU SO MUCH for the advice!!!

sincerely,

Wow that sounds scary. Well i dont think your going crazy but you do need to do something abot these obsessive thoughts. Have you been to your doctor yet? How old are you? Do you ever feel the need to weird perform daily rituals?

Meditaion, Bio-feedback,Letting go, acceptance, CBT classes  Keep posting/journalizing here if needed. Excersize. Also apparently there IS something that you may not be aware of now..that has not surfaced as to why you have these thoughts.

Do NOT be afraid to let your doctor know how you are feeling. These thoughts are not good for you!

Trust, and seek some counseling, we all need a healthy way to vent.

Best 2 you.
