Hi Everyone,
I am on my own road to a hopeful recovery from GAD/Depression/IBS- I just wanted to share this book I heard from past posts --If you haven't read Hope And Help For Your Nerves by Dr. Claire Weekes, do yourself a favor and spend the $6.00 (I downloaded it on my kindle, but you can get it from Amazon)- I have learned so much and I wish I would have found this book years ago- it may have saved me from the horrible ordeal I've been dealing with for the past four months- No one understands what we go through unless they've been there too. I have been on Lexapro for about 3 weeks now (and an occasional Xanax .5mg) and I know that has helped me, but reading this book also gave me a much better understanding and helped me cope with the horrible fears we create in our own minds. I am learning to handle my symptoms instead of fighting with them- I think that's the key, however it takes time. That's the hard part because we want to feel better NOW! But this book was a great read and has helped me, so I thought I would share in case it can help someone else. God Bless:)
