Hello.
This sounds so familiar!
I know what you're talking about.
When my anxiety was at its highest thats when i felt it the most and my symptoms did seem worst.
I was always scared to sleep cuz i thought i was going to die but it stopped now.
What DHende is true!

Hey glittersky

I cannot officially diagnose you on here but I can address this on a fear standpoint.

When you perceive a threat, real or imaginary, your body reacts to it with a host of symptoms, these symptoms are not a bad thing. If there was a cheetah in front of you, you would be thanking your body for doing it's usual fight or flight process. A threat is a threat, your mind cannot tell the difference. When you get thoughts of fear of dying for example, your mind/body reacts accordingly.

Your mind/body is designed to protect itself, and when you think something is out to get you, your brain is going to react as if it is a real life threat.  Being scared of going to bed because something bad might happen will only increase your symptoms/feelings.

It is scary to accept what is going on I get that, but it is the best thing you can do.
