need responses, NOW! please :O

Right now I feel light headed, shortness of breath. feels like I'm inside of a small room full of 300 people or something (best way I can explain shortness of breath)  I have been coughing lately and right now my heart is beating somewhat faster then usuall.  I have been going through this for almost a week now. right now I am concenerd because, I am calm and I am not in a panic state I feel kinda sleepy....exhausted kind of feeling right now it feels the symptoms seem to be happening more.

I did miss water till the afternoon (4:00pm) then I started drinking water.  can some one please tell me ways to lower by blood pressure? I can't even tell if my blood pressure is too low or too high.

I stood up not to long ago and nearly almost fell down.  my mom is just blowing it off when I tell her (she think's it's just  Anxiety)

Alright so I have been having Anxiety/Panic attacks (wich have died down)

but what seemed to cause it was high blood pressure....the first time I had a anxiety attack I had all symptoms of high blood pressure! bleeding nose, light headed, beating heart.

but now I'v noticed something, this feels more physical then mental (I think)

what kind of shower is best for lowering blood pressure? it feels like im going to feint any second or fall asleep lol oh yeah stomach and sides and below my chest are kinda warm

Hey there,

There's a book called Panic Away I've been reading it for a while now and I'd like to say, all of the symptoms you have described are anxiety symptoms, they happen because you're affraid they'll happen again, and this, is a vicious circle. You may think you're going crazy, or that you have a serious problem. Not true, this is what everyone does when they think they have a problem, we all tend to exagerate. You should get to the doctor and confirm that you really don't have anything physical and I'm almost a 100% sure you don't. And after this, you can be sure this anxiety you're feeling is a reaction of your body to the thoughts on your head... And REMEMBER! Anxiety is not a mental illness... It's just a reaction to fear, and you're affraid that you have something physical or that those panic attacks may return, well... They won't be there forever and I can guarantee you that =)

ps: I'm portuguese so I appologize for any mistakes in the writting...

Thank you for your reply!

not really any pain when I cough but there is little pain in my back,  my mom felt my chest and said I'm having heart palpiations

I'm kinda concernd because i'v had them 24/7

I'm controlling my self pretty well but I am also a little frightend. but this happend randomly.  it's hard to swallow

it kinda feels like my chest is being constricted   I had some chest pain every now and then not that sharp but it's some slight pain

I think it's just high blood pressure but the symptoms all make sense

Thank you for your post! please reply! oh and now the right side of my neck is kinda tense!

I will look right back at this furom! but I really want to know,  what's better for high/low blood pressure? i think it's high? so should I take a cold shower? or maybe something like that.

If you have been feeling like this for a week, I would suggest going to see a Dr., to give you a clean bill of health. I'm sure it's ALL anxiety.

You said youve been having panic attacks too. So chances are high you are probably just experiencing anxiety symptoms.

How do you know you have high blood pressure? Or do you just think that?

Shortness of breath is a symptom of anxiety, heavy chest is too, heart palpitations (heart beating fast) is another symptom of anxiety.

You say you are calm, and sometimes I'm calm too when experiencing anxiety SYMPTOMS. Sometimes our bodies are trying to tell us to take it easy. I had neck pain for 3 months, and had not anxiety that I could tell... but my body was having anxiety. lol. But then of course I gave mysefl anxiety over it b/c i "THOUGHT" it was something bad like a tumor. But it wasnt. Just anxiety.

Sounds like you are obsessing about every sensation too... thats anxiety as well more than likely. I do that too. You said "oh yeah feels like mucus in my chest"... well, there very well could be. Do you have allergies? Are you running a fever?

My suggestion is to ask your mother to take you to the Dr. to get a clean bill of health, then go from there. Just to make sure you are okay. The more I read your post, you said you've been coughing... is there pain when you cough? Any pain in your back? Are you breathing okay, but just feels hard to breath? If you are running a fever, you will def. want to get to a Dr. to make sure you don't have pneumonia or anything like that. Not to scare you. =)  Best of luck to you okay. But trust me, you and your mother would KNOW if you had pneumonia, or walking pneumonia.

Keep us posted okay? Talk to your mom.
