afraid of dying. 19yrs old

Ever since finding my brother dead in his sleep 1yr ago , I have been really scared of going to sleep. Fearing that I may also die in my sleep. I have many panic attacks, some so bad that my legs and arms start to shake and everything just seem so unreal. Sometimes it feels like I can't breathe and u can just die at any minute. every minor symptom I have. I will always blow it out of proportion. Need advice!!  How should I deal with this?

With anxiety, it is SO extremely difficult to think rationally or clear your mind for everything to seem perfect or even just to let your night go by smoothly. I, myself, suffer from severe anxiety, and you're not alone.
What you have to realize is that everything will end up fine, believe that, and repeat it in your head constantly throughout the day. This will give you somewhat of a distraction so you can slightly ease your mind. Other than your thoughts, try to remove things at bedtime that may be giving you insomnia. Turning on a fan for white noise, or playing a CD with sounds of the ocean/forest may help as well. I also highly suggest seeing a therapist and they will help you with your phobias and other fears...

Don't waste your lifetime and good sleep worrying sick about death. Don't let small things get the best of you. Instead, go out with friends/family, play with a pet, and maybe treat yourself to something. If you are Christian you may be interested to know that there is a Bible verse that says that there are enough worries for today, so we shouldn't be worried about tomorrow or the future, because they are in God's hands. Realize that death isn't full of suffering and pain, despite life being a great thing. Also, worrying less keeps you young and you are less likely to get heart disease, so stay optimistic!!!
