Stop being in such a hurry -- neither of those majors require you to make an immediate decision. It's pretty hard to know at 18 what you want to do with your life. Try out some courses in each and see what pleases you. As to your self-doubt, everyone has that, some just don't manifest it.
If I could recommend anything more specific, shoot for a Liberal Arts degree.
And always remember that you in life, unlike high school, 'fitting in' doesn't mean $h1t. Carve out your own piece of the world for you to fit into. Never think that because you're not part of the "in crowd" that it somehow makes you less valuable. Determine your own value. Fit into your own crowd. You'll find that others like yourself, who also think they'll never fit in, are all around you.
Be strong, be confident, work hard...and enjoy these years. You'll look back on them one day when you're as old as me and say to yourself, "You know, that wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it'd be.
