Panic and anxiety can be very confusing and scary. For me, the most important step I took was confronting it through talk therapy. Do you have access to a therapist? In my opinion, the knowledge gained about how the anxiety affects you personally, can give you a lot of power to deal with it...keep us posted!
Try to get over your fear of seeing a psychiatrist. Panic episodes on a daily basis need to be dealt with. The sooner the better. Relaxation or cognitive behavioral techniques are fine after you are stabilized on a medication.
You may not need a medication: just to find a therapist who can help you feel less alone with your battle. Unrelieved anxiety inevitably leads to depression, and often agoraphobia.
