Is at my end! Anyone have some insight!

First of all, hello to all! I am new here! so nice to see this types of things exist. I am a 28 year old female. I have been sick for the better part of ten years. I have had a total 7 of surgeries including: Tonsils and adnoids removed, gallbladder removed, breast reduction surgery, exploratory surgery(lower abdomen), right ovary and tube removed, appendix removed,  kidney stones removed, and on the board is removal of many large polyps located in both sinuses removed. I have seen a doctor and currently see dr's for about every system and specialty in the human body. My diagnosis and symptoms are as follows: Lupus( one opinion, one Dr who saw me in hospital says no!) Seizures, Migraines, Polycystic  disease, kidney stones, extreme extreme fatigue, joint pain, joint swelling, muscle pain, my feet turn purple if im in the same position upright for long, anemia, calcification on left side of brain, barrett's snydrome, IBS, chronic broncitis, asthma, have had numerous miscarriages with no successful pregnancies, and because of all the above, anxiety and depression. My medicine cabinet is over flowing!

Now my question.....My last hospitalization was for an out of this world migraine that was not controlled by immetrex. Sight loss, talking funny, and right side control loss also began to accompany this migraine leading to the ER visit! Fearful of a possible stroke MRI with contrast stat was ordered after a spot on left of brain was discovered on CT scan. I also suffer from epilepsy. Admitted to the Neuro Trauma floor by current Neuro Doc took over my care. While hospitalized he explained i had a calcification on left side of my brain, but thats about all the further the explanation went. During this i started to have a new symptom (new as far as hospitalization goes, Ive had this symptom plenty of times before.) My  joints and muscles began to just throb and ache to the point the nurses couldnt even get me outta bed to use the restroom, because they couldnt touch me without me screaming in pain. Screaming in pain on Demerol IM, Percocet by mouth, xanax, and ambien to help me sleep at night. I have been followed by a Rhuematologist for the past year prior to this admittance to the hospital. My husband specially asks for her to be consulted due to the joint swelling and pain i was having. I should note she diagnosed me with SLE approx 8 months prior. My neurologist obviously concerned changed that consult to a stat consult and i got a rhuem dr ive never even seen before. He bursts in teh room saying that i dont have lupus, quit telling people that, and im not in as much pain as i think i am! Now! I am no DR but I really dont think its normal for a 28 yr old athletic state champ in basketball to all of sudden have multiple system problems. Debilitating problems! So anyone familiar to auto immune disease, lupus, etc. please shed any light as i am truly fet up with my current drs not having concrete answers!

There is no medicine for Lupus, only immune suppressants (steroids).

Hi Jenny,
Welome to MedHelp.

Wow girl, you are having a rough time.  It sounds like your symptoms are very complicated, and that there is a lot going on.

Could you share a little more about why the rhematologist thought you had lupus?  What test and symptoms were you having when this dx came down?  And what medicine did the rhematologist prescribe for you?

If you are done with the doctors you might want to explore Natural Healing which envolves taking the necessary supplements which allow the body to heal itself.  Healing comes from within the body.  Get a book on Natural Healing and it will tell you what supplements will help for the condition you think you might have.  These neurological diseases have similar sympthoms and most of the supplements are similiar.  One of the supplements that is always recommended is vitamin C.  I take 1 gram of vitamin C three times a day with each meal.  Give it a try and if you start feeling better get the book and try the many supplements it recommends for your condition.  Illness is caused by what we put in our bodies.  My problem was the extensive dental work I had done.  These silver fillings are actually mercury fillings.  There are many things in our enviroment that can make us sick.  Examples are mercury in teeth, fish, vaccinations, and enviroment. Lead in paint, steriods in the meat and dairy products we eat, pesticides on the fruits and vegetables, aluminum in anti-perspriant deodorant. We need to try to identify things and try to limit our exposure to them.  The body was designed to live on fruits and vegetables and these have the nutrients which allow the body to repair itself.  Examine your enviroment and make sure it does not have alot of toxins in it.  If you have bleeding gums that is a bad sign that something in you mouth is not right.  Why not give natural healing a try.
