Extremities and face tingling after seeing chiropractor?

So I started seeing a chiropractor a few weeks ago. Almost a month at this point.

He had X-rays done. And showed that my neck is the worst.
Phase 3 spinal degeneration. 5 out of 7 vertebra in my neck not moving and the natural curve in my neck at the point it's curving in the wrong direction. I also have what he called slight scoliosis and some issues in my lower back but stated my neck is my biggest concern at this point.

It started with the simple machines that massage and the weird thing that taps on your muscles.(sorry this is my first time at a chiropractor so I'm not sure what the tools/machines are called)

About 2 weeks ago, he started the manipulation part. Cracking between my shoulder blades and my neck first and this past week started doing my lower back. Now there has been some relief as far as I am not getting locked up trying to pick things up off the floor but now I can't stand or sit for long with out my left leg and foot feeling like it fell asleep and becoming so painful I want to scream. Or my hands and even my nose, face and tongue becoming tingly.

When I brought this up to the chiropractor, he said that it has to be some other issue because it is not a chiropractic treatment related issue(which sounded strange to begin with)

A little about my history...

I'm a 33 year old female at 5ft 1in
242lbs(yes I'm aware weight can play a role in it)
Recent testing done for hypothyroidism and diabetes. Both came back normal.
I'm on perphenazine and topomax but have been on them long enough that the side effects from them stopped affecting me months ago
Vitamin levels checked out fine

It IS a spinal issue!  Whether the Chiropractor says so or not.
I would see a different Chiropractor and/or a spinal specialist to make sure, but from my experience with bones, spines, (my own) and Chiropractors and spinal surgeons, I would say that you have a pinched nerve in your neck.
It is POSSIBLE that the lumbar spine plays a part in this but, your symptoms would indicate the neck being the problem rather than the lumbar spine!
Try another Chiropractor or a spinal surgeon and see if X-Rays or and MRI will give you your answer!
Do it NOW, before it gets worse.  It could be that another Chiropractor will be able to manipulate the neck and get all of it to go away, by moving the impinged nerves out of the way through manipulation.
Good luck!

Personally I wouldn't let a Chiropractor touch my neck, although I have had a couple neck surgeries, but even if I hadn't. It's just too dangerous. Go see your PCP and get a referral to a Spine specialist for an evaluation. Then maybe you can see a Physical Therapist or Osteopath that specializes in Neck and Back problems.

I do see a Chiro for my low back and he's helped me tremendously, but neck's are a different ballgame.
