Hi, I too have lost complete lordosis in my neck...I have forward head syndrome too!:-( I know too well, the EXACT kind of horrid headaches and base of skull and neck pain u must suffer from. It IS possible to help reverse this. What I did was found this incredible chiropractor, (I had gone to many seminars to learn about different techniques different chiros used) and his seminar impressed me the most altho I had never heard of The Pettibon System before meeting him. After an intensive 15 month program, I gained 20% curvature back in my neck. Sadly, I became lazy, quit doing my exercises at home, and failed to return. Now I'm paying the price...someday. anyway, I shared this to help give u hope, that YES u can do something about this!! I wish you the best!
Check out the Feldenkrais method to help with pain and posture, my Drs suggested this to me, there r some classes in larger cities, so depending where u live u may be able to go to one or get a book or video on this method.
I hope u find relief soon : )
I haven't had whiplash, but have previously sprained my back and neck. I've also had forward head posture my whole life(29 years). As a child my neck would ache but my parents thought nothing of it. I think it's a lifetime of poor posture and an injury. It is just so very painful and the migraines are killer. I've done as much research on my chiropractor as possible, great reviews no law suits. He is gentle and doesn't pressure people. Seems to genuinely care about his patients. I just want this pain to stop. I wish my parents would've made me stand straight when I was a child. Maybe I wouldn't be in this position. I just want to be painfree and be able to play with my daughter.
Hi, did u have whip lash?
Did u have a MRI of ur cervical spine? I had whip lash and loss of cervical lordosis and PT helped as well as a chiro, but like nething or neone some r better then others and u do have to research who u go to,.
And do get a MRI first as a Chiro can cause more issues if that is not the cause of ur issues....so do check,
