L5 Problem Cause Of Neck/Hip and Leg??

I have been going through a great deal of pain for a year now, been told AS, OA and inflamation in SI Joints and Hip. Now the Orthapedic surgeon stated he will try another injection in the SI Joint if that doesn't help then the hip, if that doesn't help then surgery on the L5, he said there was a past fracture there and something about the bone. Would this be the cause of my neck pain, hip down the leg to foot? Like my spine being off due to a deformality in the L5? Any help would be nice here.

L5 Problem Cause Of Neck/Hip and Leg??
Possibly, because of balance. Bodies balance consist of neck-shoulder trigon, lower back-hip trigon and knee-ankle trigon, they can affect each other.
Take care!

Hi Sweetie, sorry you're in such pain. I understand. But, I don't think it works that way. The nerves run from your brain down your spinal column. So neck pain can cause problems in arms, bck, and legs. But I have never heard of it being the other way around. Good luck on the injection. They never seem to help me much. That said, I supppose anything is possible with our crazy bodies...
