Can i take Birth Control.?

okay, so i have a 7 week old baby c: i am getting on the pill and i have a question.... Can i take my birth control if im breastfeeding.? can i take my birth control anytime because i still haven't gotten my period because of the baby. Can i still take it even though i havent had my actual period yet.? can i just take it today even if i dont have my period.?
Help would be greatly appreciated.!!

when I had my kids they put me on birth control. but I wasnt breastfeeding. so I'm not sure about that. talk to your doctor about it before taking it.
