Birth Control for TEENS

Here's my problem. I have 2 teenage sons who are both well versed in sex education...well aware of the risks of sexual activity and they are both responsible. My 15 year old has just recently admitted to me that he is not sure he is not going to have sex before he graduates from high school. I need to know OTHER THEN THINGS A DOCTOR must prescribe, what types of Birth Control options are there? I have told him and his girlfriend about spermicide and condoms. Is there anything other then spermicide that she can use? I just want my kid safe...and yes I am still really pushing NO SEX with them both. PLEASE HELP!

i agree with kim. if my mil started discussing my b/c options with me....i'd freak out and probably avoid her and her house at all costs. talking to your kids is great. relaying information to them is great....let them tell their gf's unless the gf's come to you.  and i KNOW my mom would be beyond p!ssed off if some other woman discussed something of such a personal matter with me. luckily non of my bf's mothers were nosy and told me about sex and b/c. is there a school counselor or her doctor she can talk to?

if you've informed your sons and you've told them...that's all you can do as a mother. you can't be there when they're doing the horizontal mambo to make sure they're using all the protection possible.

its not your business what type of birth control she uses. thats all up to her. i know if my bfs mom was telling me to use a diaphram or cervical cap. i would be freaked out to say the least that she was too overally involved with mine and her sons sex life....just a though. i really dont think you should approach her with this. this is her business and her sex life. what birth control, if any, she decides to use is on her

Yeah, but I think in the lovely state of Arkansas, a parents permission must exist. I am not even related to her, and I KNOW her parents would NOT even have a conversation with her about sex, other then to say NO! That's why I was asking.
