switching pill to mini pill blood clots

Hey I'm new here ..I need advice about switching the pill. I'm 27 first time on pills with a family history of blood clots ( my mum) doctor still prescribed me combination pill although I told him about it.i took pill 6days and had to stop immediately as side effects were unbearable ( cramps vomiting leg cramps when walk and at night)now my cycle is out of order and I bleed 3 days after I stopped it. I got prescription for mini pill but when can I start it? doctor said immediately but I dont know somehow it feels fast as im still bleeding now . can I start it now ?  or wait?
