don't know if its my bc or pregnant???

Well.... last month I forgot to take a birth control pill so I took 2 when I remembered and I started having breakthrough bleeding like I usally do so I thought nothing of it. About a week later I ended up getting a UTI so I went to my doctor and she prescirbed me antibiotics I took them as prescribed and it went away. Having a crazy week at work I forgot to pick up my birthcontrol pills and so I had to get them a day late so I started them late. The reason why I'm concerned about being pregnant is because my boyfriend and I have unprotected sex atleast 5 nights a week and he cums inside me everytime. We've been on birth control for 2 years and never got pregant. This time I'm scared I've been extremely nauseted but its only random parts of the day mostly in the morning or night my **** get hard randomly and kinda hurt but not much and I've been having bad cramps like I'm going to have my peirod but its not due for another 2 weeks my last peird was only 3 days long and weird I took a test but it was negative. Oh and this is weird but I've been feeling wetter downstair latly but its at weird times like when I'm running around at work. Can I be pregnant or is it the pills making me sick because I started my pack late?

Thankyou. It feels so much better now that I'm not the only one feeling sick from the pill. I usally take it everyday at the same time. But there's always those days you take it an hour or so late but usally its the same time and the other days when you just completly forget I'm going to start setting an alarm. :) thank you a huge weight is off my shoulders

Could just be birth control, though do note "morning sickness" can occur in the morning, evening, afternoon, or even all day in some women.  I wouldn't be too worried.  I've been in the same boat with doubling up because of one missed pill or started a pack one day late and never had an issue.  I've also had birth control make me nauseous (and sore breasts, sensitive smell, etc., etc. that's normally associated with pregnancy) after having changed the way I took it for a few cycles so that I could have a period every 3-4 months instead of every month.  The pill is able to do that regardless.

If you miss your period the next time you're due, then I'd worry, but more than likely, you are ok if you take your pill daily around the same time.

Suggestion so the missed pill thing is less likely to happen: set a cell phone alarm to go off at, say, 4:00 p.m. (whatever time is best for you) and select the "Daily" feature and keep the pill pack in your purse with you.  Only turn it off when you're in your placebo week.  I swear it has helped me remember to take it so many times.

A note to make, though, is that I'm on the two-hormone pill. If you are on the progesterone-only "mini" pill, you may very well be at risk as those are more sensitive.
