Am I pregnant while on the patch? I use ortho evra.

I am on the ortho evra patch. I mistook my 3rd week as my patch free week. I had sex before the mistake. But no it's been over a week and still no period. Am I pregnant?

So, I believe you should be protected if you just used the patch two weeks, had a different off week and went straight back to the patch.  When used correctly, you are still protected during the off week.  You just switched your off week, right?  Manipulating hormones and falling out of your normal pattern can result in pregnancy occasionally though, so this is not a total non worry.  If you don't get your period/spotting/bleeding, then take a pregnancy test 2.5 weeks after the last time you had sex during that off week.  Hang in there.
