birth control options need help!

So after I have my baby girl I want to get some type of birth control that last at least 5 years! I dont want to to the pills.. I was thinking about iud but ive heard it has bad symptoms and can be dangerous! What did you ladies use and whats your opinion on the best birth control and your experience with them good or bad... im almost 37 weeks and I havent been able to decide what I should do

I gave the mirena iud and haven't had any side effects that I'm aware of. Don't believe all the negative hype. People like to complain online but rarely post when it works without problems. Because people only go online when they have issues so that's all you'll ever see. It's a statistically flawed sample you're reading into.

Besides you can always take it out if you don't like it. It's not that big of a deal.
