Possible brain or visual problems after mild blood loss?

I had a minor accident where I tipped and fell in the plates I was trimming. One of them punctured my left forearm and hit the venous vessel, which poured blood backwards (towards my elbow) in a very thin stream.
I was trying top manage but fainted ( suddenly like when you fall asleep, I didn't hit myself). I wasn't out for that long, I couldn't have been even an hour. I woke up all right, just like you wake up from sleep, no problems with movement, balance, I knew what happened, what's the situation, no confusion or slurred speech or anything.
My vision was a bit blurrier than before (I weak glasses), but it could have been due to the glasses being bent. The wound was taken care of by a surgeon. No transfusion needed. I asked her this, she said briefly: "unlikely".
Given the issue described, could I have sustained any sort of brain damage, or visual problems (either due to brain damage or eye damage)?
I just would like to rule things out, so it's one stone off my chest.
While I appreciate anyone's comment, I'd prefer a comment of medical professionals as well.
Regards~
