Not usually unless huge. MRI scans - dynamic pituitary scans are usually ordered.
Can pitutary tumors can be diagnosed with ct scan ?
Wow, I can see how that would concern you greatly! Do you have a primary care doctor? Typically an endocrinologist, who you would need to see, requires a referral from one, though I don't know if that's true in your country. But seeing an endocrinologist would be your immediate goal. Hopefully tomorrow, you can make an appointment, at least with your primary care doctor, to get the ball rolling. If there is one available in your country, a neuro-endocrinologist would be your ultimate goal of who to follow you up, if acromegaly turns out to be your problem. There supposed to be the best experts (though I think perhaps they are mixed bag, as the one I saw didn't seem to be extremely knowledgeable from what she said to me). If you can get a recommendation for one, that may be helpful!
yeah i have a photo from few years back it looks like my brow ridge is tiny but a more recent from 7 weeks ago i can see my brow ridge is huge im worried
Have you had any dental appointments in this time? Has your dentist pointed out any major changes in your dentition?
Can you compare pictures from last year to this year and see changes in the shape of your face? If yes, then go to the doctor and get tested for IGF-1 and GH. It can now be treated with medications - but the changes you see are not reversible - so get it treated ASAP.
