Sharp stabbing pains in head?

OK well for a long while not a few years maybe 2 or 3 i get these randoms sharp 1 to 3 second paints in my head sometimes i get a few a day and sometimes i don't have them for a week
These don't cause anything else to happen. when i happends i kinda just close my eyes and wait for the pain to go away,

Someone said it could be an icepick headache but im only 17 year old male and i hear that these type of headaches are really uncommon

So can anyone kinda tell me what could it be

Headaches are very... non-specific. It can be stress, hormones, migraines, ears, blood pressure...
It really would be good to get them checked out as the pain has been persistent.

A doctor needs to tell you what the headaches are - an internet "exam" is not... er, accurate.
