Help me

My father is 76 years old and he had a brain hemridge on 10 November 2010. He servived but in a semi-conscious level. I have his CT Scans. Is any neuro sergeon can give me best opinion ? What should I do now?

That doctor may, but he is a skull base doctor - he only works in tumors and issues in the base of the skull. They don't usually operate in the case of strokes.

This could/should be in the neurology expert forum or neurology area as well.

there is an expert forum for pituitary tumors. the doctor there might read the ct.

Is he currently in the hospital? Is he under the care of a neurologist? Did they determine the cause of the stroke?

Usually a neurologist would treat this condition as they are usually not operable unless the pressure builds up and they need to relieve the pressure.

Stroke recovery all depends on where in the brain, how extensive, how fast treatment was given, health before the stoke etc.

The doctors should be talking to you a lot as well as the social workers about your father's prognosis and treatment plan. I would ask a lot of questions about his prognosis and future treatment plans.
