can anyone tell me anything

I have been having the same symptoms as alot of people ive seen on here and i am really worried. I have had head pressure, ear ache, worrying about a possible brain tumor, and worrying that my Ct scan may not have shown a tumor and that a MRI could.  I am 17 and i have been having head aches for the last two weeks.  I have had the head pressure which feels like my head being squished, my nose has pressure on it but its not stuffy, sharpness and fullness in my ear, my throat has felt tight like there is flem in it, i have had diarrhea, and since this has started all i have done is worried about it.  I heard that stress and anxiety could cause this.  I have also had the cat scan and been to the doctor.  I feel like the cat scan could have missed something and i want a MRI but the doctor says i don't need one.  I originally i thought this was a neck strain after my rough snowmobiling trip but my symptoms wont go away.  Also laying down makes my head hurt more and its very hard to go to sleep.  I haven't gone to school since this started because daily activities make this worse.  I was just wondering if anyone has had symptoms like this and if anyone can help me i would be very greatful
Thanks keith

Hello,

It sounds to me like you may need to see an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor as you do have alot of symptoms pertaining to these areas as well as pressure in the head.  I think this is your best next choice.  Please keep me informed.  Good Luck!

I have been drinking alot of soda since this started so i'll try just drinking water.  My appetite has been alright. Not as much as I normally eat which is alot but i'm still eating.  I found out something wierd that when i take a day quill like pill it makes me feel better.  The doctors didn't say anything about a cold or sinus infection type deal though so i'm confused as to why it helps and you seem knowledgable in this area.

Headaches that get worse with exercise often have organic causes. MRI's are expensive so I guess I can understand your docs not wanting to order one yet.
How is your appetite? Be sure you are drinking enough plain water (coffee, soda etc. doesn't count), and drink an electrolyte beverage daily (please, not Gatorade). I like Trace Minerals Stamina. Comes in little packets, in powder form. Proper mineral balance is important for brain function.

The doctors having helped much to be completely honest.  They haven't suggested really anything since they originally thought i had a neck strain.  The blood test came back fine, and my symptoms really haven't got any worse or any better.  I haven't had any vision problems at all and none of the major symptoms of a brain tumor and also with the cat scan showing nothing the doctors don't think i have a tumor or stroke so they think a MRI isn't needed.  I'm really unsure what to do because i can't go to school because the headache gets worse during daily activity.  I'm supposed to be referred to the only pediatric nuerologist in Maine and see what he thinks.
Thanks Keith

What has your doctor suggested for your symptoms? Have you had blood tests done? It could be a viral infection. Are your symptoms any worse or better than one week ago?
Do you have any problem with your vision?
