Hello. I wanted to circle back around and follow up with you. How did this turn out? I would love an update. All the best to you.
I'm sorry it is so hard. One thing to do is to perhaps go over your size when making the appointment. This is a problem that is well talked about in the medical community with many knowing they need to do more to accommodate everyone for necessary testing. They do make machines that can accommodate you, however, not every facility will have them so it is best to ask. I am sure that working on weight issues is something that you do and we have communities for that and people that are in the same boat and want to help. Let me know if you need direction to those forums. We are here to support you. Let us know how it goes tomorrow.
Hello and welcome to MedHelp's forums. I'm sorry to hear you are having this difficulty for diagnostic testing. Did your doctor have any suggestions. Ordinarily, if breasts are too large, they use multiple sheets to do the imaging and do it in sections. However, that's not ideal.
Why are you having an MRI of your breasts? This is not a routine screening tool. https://www.breastcancer.org/symptoms/testing/types/mri/screening
Our suggestion is to speak with your doctor and find out what their recommendations are and please let us know what you are told.
