First Time Mammogram

Notes on a mammogram: there is a nodular density in the right upper outer breast posterior on the MLO images only, probably an intramammary lymph node.  What does this mean? BIRADS was 0 Incomplete. Left side was fine. I have a follow up ultrasound and diagnostic mammogram.

Hello and welcome to the forum. We're sorry for the delay in response. Since your post is a month old, you've likely spoken to your doctor Dense breasts are not a cancerous condition but instead a complication to doing proper mammograms. Makes it harder to see. There is a link to dense breasts and the future development of cancer so important not to skip your mammograms. They gave you a birad of 0 which means not suspicious of cancer. Is this what your doctor told you?

My Doctor failed to explained what each number means but the Tech and Mammogram Doctor were awesome and made me feel better. I do have a nodule but it’s benign.
