'Pending' just means 'in the process', the time while radiologists are interpreting your tests, or biopsy. The pending state is usually around a week long and then you are told the results. best, katrin
I'm not sure what you mean by your question .... the results of a breast biopsy is the "answer" and the only "answer" as to what the exact problem within the breast tissue. The only thing I can think of is that you may have been given a preliminary diagnosis which will either be confirmed or denied when the Pathologic studies are complete. As a rule these results take from 4 to 7 days to reach the desk of your prescribing Physician. Regards ....
