Mammogram and fearful-

I had a Mammogram last week and they called me back for additional views.  They said asymmetry in left breast lower breast on the MLO view.  I am so scared and not going back for the additional views until Thursday.  I did have a breast reduction about 7 years ago.   Any feedback would be helpful.

How did it go? I had same thing. They ruled it as post operative changes. But now I have pain for 2 years.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Sorry for the delayed response to your question.  We're sorry that you got called back and know that is always nerve wrecking. However, most of the time, the call back for further looks result in a clean bill of health. When it doesn't, it's an important step to getting on the path to recovering.  Breast asymmetry refers to the appearance of a part of the breast in comparison to the remainder of that breast and to the other breast.  Asymmetry is pretty common and most often noncancerous. But they do have to check it out to be sure.
