Hi,
Just a suggestion:
You would better served ,if you start your question in your own new post. When you add on an old post, members are more likely to overlook it,thinking that you are replying to the first poster. You can start your own question by clicking on the green rectangle (Top of screen) that says "Post a question" By the way,in this Forum we have no doctors, but only members who answer posts. Please post anew by giving more information about your case,so we can help you the best we can.Take care..
i had a ultra sound and mammagram 3 month ago and they found
a mass of 5mm on my right breath and i'm scare.
I have lobular carcinoma in situ. LCIS. I had a breasts biopsy 3 weeks ago to remove a group of precancerous microcalcifications. . Today I had a MRI. on both breasts. My oncologist just wants to make sure it is not anywhere else. This gives me comfort if it come out clean. And if they find another group of LCIS then he can remove it with another biopsy. Easy. Try to find the comfort in all these tests and know soon you will have all your answers. All of this can make us all crazy with worry. MRI's I think can show the doctor what they are dealing with. Each doctor has their own way of doing things. If mine had wanted a MRI before biopsy I would of welcomed it. I want to know what is there and what I am dealing with... before biopsy or after. :) One day at a time...slay one dragon at a time. Hang in there. :)
I should have added that he said I have Ductal Carcinoma In Situ. If it's "in situ" then why would I need an MRI?
