i now have a 1.2 cm node in the prevascular space pet scan suv 2.8 and tumor marker has doubled to 46 what do you think the next step is
biopsy today should show the nitty grity. How fast did your markers go up? Breast cancer twice first 2004 then 2008 double mastectamy 2008. This node lit up on pet scan its behind my breast bone lets just hope that its not another here we go again
Not sure as you give no background at all. but if you have another tumor marker test in a few weeks, that should tell a lt, as if this is metastatic cancer as you say, the values will go up.
Mine did that a lot, like 100 points per months, at least. Since I started chemo, the numbers have dropped and I can fee that.
