I would get it checked for no other reason than so you can not worry about it or think about it. I am sure it is nothing and right after I had a baby last year I developed a hard lump that turned out to be a 3 cm simple cysts but I feel better knowing. Everyone told me not to get it checked on cause it was probably related to me BF but I just didn't want to continue to think about it so I went it and they barely took me serious in the office but end the end I was so happy I am not still wondering what that is.... Life is too short to worry about somethng you can get an answer about in one quick visit.
Hi,
The needle used during core needle biopsy is larger than the needle used with FNA and
sometimes it can damage some nerves causing the pain you are experiencing. The pain of damaged nerves is normal after a biopsy and can persist for quite some time until complete healing takes place.
It wouldn't be a bad idea to mention it to your doctor though, just to be on the safe side.
Best wishes
5-year pain along FNA needle route for me.
