Should I be concerned after a Diagnostic Mammogram,...

Should I be concerned after a Diagnostic Mammogram, Ultrasound, Scintimammography and MRI?  I have had all of them done in the past two weeks, the MRI was yesterday.  I have not been told anything except my mammograph was abnormal and they are now waiting on the MRI results.  While I was waiting for the CDs from my MRI, the technician said it would be awhile because there were three CDs with over 2000 pictures, because they also took pictures of the lymph nodes too.  She said usually people only have one CD with about 900 pictures.  Just very anxious.

To be sure your question gets attention, it would be better to start a new thread of your own. When questions are tacked on to the end of someone else's thread, they can be easily overlooked, because people often assume they are just additional answers to the original question.

Best wishes...

I think you should wait until you see your prescribing Physician and have all your reports explained to you in detail. You can't really base anything on what the Technician says as only your own Dr. knows your complete medical history and how the tests apply to you and your condition. I know reports are released to pt.s without explanation which is something I am very much against. These reports are written in such a way that only medically trained persons actually know what all the terms mean. You are entitled to an explanation in terms that you can easily understand so don't settle for anything less.  Regards ....
