stereotactic breast biopsy marker

When I had my biopsy, the Dr nor the nurse told me they would be putting this marker inside my body.  I surely would have rejected it had I known...What can I do now that the marker is in me??  I believe it is causing problems I have....pain...burning....aches...and I feel sick!!   I have had a lot of tests and they come out normal!!   I don't want this in my body....God would have put it there if he wanted it there!

Honestly I don't see a connection between the two ... the pain could be a positional issue; many times a pain of this type with an undetermined cause can be the result of some spinal / pinched nerve problem. I'm sorry your partner is having cancer issues .... we wish him the very best is his journey through treatment.   Kindest regards ....

I can't believe your statement about God putting a titanium marker in your body !!!  I might say in response that if God didn't want it there then HE wouldn't have permitted the Surgeon to have the knowledge or the skill to do so. Evidently you do not understand the necessity of these markers. If the marker weren't in place then a suspicious area might very well show up on your next film and not knowing the nature of this another biopsy would no doubt be ordered .... another invasive (although minor) would be performed; and the next time and the next time ..........  This marker which is perfectly harmless (it is inserted through a needle !!) is used to mark the location of the previous biopsy so that it doesn't appear to be a new area of suspicion and you subjected to yet another biopsy on the same location.
I would venture to say that you are feeling "sick" because you are letting this everyday, routine procedure stress you out way too much. In the future you need to investigate and  ask questions of your Medical Team in order to understand completely the procedure and all the reasons for it. I'm curious if your biopsy returned a negative result ... if so I would be concentrating on that and being thankful.  Regards .....
