Hi, I had a stereotactic & they went in from 2 different sides...I had alot of pain due to a hematoma the size of a golf ball...but even w/ that the pain was almost gone in 1 1/2 weeks so I agree if you are in alot of pain don't accept this go to the er,call your Doc,call your general doc..I live in New York..I got my results the monday after my biopsy & my doc did the biopsy on the wed before....Good luck w/ your results ,Let me know how you make out, I get my results from my excisional biopsy tomorrow & the nite can not be over quick enough....take care, you are in my thoughts.......

Sissy:  What kind of biopsy did you have?  I am shocked and a little scared that it is taking so long for you to get the results.  What part of the world or Country are you in?  I am in Missouri, that would terrify me to have to wait over two weeks. I am having my biopsy next Wednesday.  I have waited almost two months to have this, and the waiting for appointments and results is brutal.   I have not read that many women experience pain after two to three days (on this site), maybe you have an infection???  I can't give you any medical advice, but if the pain gets too bad, please go to the emergency room, I don't think you should still be hurting.  I only say that because my mother had a liver transplant and after she came home from the hospital, she started to experience a great deal of pain and she had a terrible infection that had to do with rejecting the liver (I know it does not apply to your situation) but I think that pain and swelling is a bad indication that something may be infected.  Did they leave a marker in your breast?  Maybe you are rejecting that marker.  These are only guesses and nothing is meant to scare you in any way, I am of course not a physician.  Please keep us advised, and I will keep you in my prayers.
