which tumors are worse ER/PR+ or ER/PR-
I am just wondering if anyone knows which type of the two tumors ER/PR+ or ER/PR- are worse. Thank you
I don't know if you could say "worse" as many factors are taken into consideration in grading tumors. ER/PR negative tumors are said the be the more aggressive of the two as they do not rely on hormones for growth. With ER/PR positive tumors medication can be given to halt the production of hormones, thus taking away their "food" so to speak. Regards ...
