Could this caused my lymph nodes?

I recently noticed several lymph nodes below my right ear. The day after I noticed the lymph nodes on the top of my ear which appeared to be two clear dots - almost looking like a bite mark. Went to the doctor and she ordered a ultrasound and put me on Levofloxacin. Waiting on the official result of the ultra sound but the tech said I have several lymph nodes showing. In the meantime the two 'bite' marks appear to be forming a scab. The lymph nodes seem to be getting smaller. Going to see my ENT on Friday. Just worried it is something else. I've had on and off achiness around my adams apple. My gastro doc believes it is not related to reflux. It seems it would be too easy if it were just am infected bite but I'm am not sure.  Thank you.

Ate you asking if cancer could cause the reactive lymph nodes?  Possibly, but you did the right thing and have been to the doctor and they are attempting to see what is going on.  That you were put on an antibiotic, they seem to feel you have a treatable infection. What was the ultrasound of?  and you have an infected bite?   Yes, that infection could cause our immune system to jump in and lymph nodes can react as yours have.  But you are smart to make sure.  Anyway, let us know what the ent says

The ultrasound was of the parotid region from the top of my right ear to the middle of the neck.  Not sure if the marks are bites.  I'll keep you updated. thanks for your response.
worried too because I did have a scare almost 20 years ago on the left side. I had in enlarged lymph node that they could not biopsy because in was in the salivary gland. after surgery it was a benign lymph node.
My results came back stating that I have 4 lymph nodes seen on the ultrasound. They said they were of normal structure. Went to the ENT and he did a nasal endoscopy and found nothing unusual. Checked my thyroid and no nodules that he could feel. Both my general and ENT told me not to worry about the thyroid.  He told me to come back in two months to recheck. He thinks it could be strain, muscular, anxiety or may be reflux. Advised me to keep taking omeprazole each day. So for good news at this point.
