Bumps behind ear

So for about two years now, I've had these bumps located directly behind my ear on my skull. I went to a doctor about 8 months after they initially showed up and he didn't really know what they were. He said to wait a while and see if they go away on their own. I'm pretty sure that they're swollen lymph nodes. I feel completely healthy and have had no past history of any health issues. The bumps are hard but you can kind of wiggle them around and they don't really hurt at all. Does anybody know what this is or if it's a sign of something bad like cancer? Should I see a doctor? Thanks.
