Wondering what this LUMP is? base of skull area

i just noticed a small lump at the base of my skull about the size of a very small pea.  I have not experienced any pain from it.  I am a 46 year old woman in great physical condition,  have prime blood pressure and have no other physical symptoms. What could this be?

Is it coming to the surface at all?

I doubt this is any liposarcoma diagnosis based on the limited info in your post; not sure where you came up with that diagnosis.  I would be more apt to believe this is a cyst

Have it checked monday.

Keep us posted on the findings.

I just noticed it yesterday, and it is under all dermal layers of my skin and appears to be on close to a muscle.  It has become tender and a little concerning to me .  I have  not yet gone into a doctors office but plan on to on Monday.  I am thinking circumscribed begnign cyst or it also may be indicative of liposarcoma

This could be a number of things.

How long have you had this?  No doctor's visit yet?
