dark spot on eye

I have spotted a small dark spot on my eye.  I tried to look at diagrams to find out exactly where it is.  Its either on the conjunctiva or the iris. It looks as if its on the outter rim of my eye coloring; its about the size of a pencil point.  I feel it, and my eye is also watery and irritated. Do you think this is some sort of tumor or cancer?

Hi,

It would be difficult to make any comment without having a look at the spot that you describe.

It would be best to consult your doctor or eye specialist and see what they have to say after a clinical examination.

Let us know how you are doing and also post us about what your doctor advises.

Regards.

I am 30yrs old.  symptoms are just that my eye is irritated and waters.  I feel the spot, its not flat it is a small bumb.  I think that because I can feel it with my eyelid that this is making my eye more irritated.  It also has a clear to yellow ring around the dark spot.  my vision seems to be fine except when it is watering and than its blurry.  Do you think this could just be something stuck in my eye. stuck real deep in there?  if so how would they get it out?

Hi,

The chances that this is cancerous are minimal. Do you have any symptoms?

What is your age? Do you have any vision problems?

It would be best to get a clinical evaluation done by your doctor or eye specialist. A confirmed diagnosis can be established only then.

Let us know what your doctor advises and if you have any more doubts.

Hope this helps.

Regards.
