lump over left clavicle...question

I have a lump over my left clavicle.It has been there for over a year and when I first noticed it I was having alot of neck pain and strain and I assumed it was due to that. It was soft at that time and not really painful but big enough to be noticeable by other people.I showed it to a Dr she felt of it and said it was a fatty tumour and nothing to worry about and I also had swollen glands. It has  gotten alittle bit bigger since then and now it stays hard  all the time and  it causes  some pain.I recently went to the ER with a Severe head ache pressure,blurred vision,neck sweating and stiffness,hearing disturbance,nausea,weakness,muscle spasms,chest pain,flutter sensation in ovary area and leg  and thet did a cat scan of head and a spinal tap and it was okay and said it was a severe migraine,I went home and couldnt raise my head for the pain for 2 weeks I am better but I am still having head pressure headches severe weakness ,lightheaded etc...I was wondering if the lump could be related to whatever is going on with me know.I am 44,I have barretts esphagus which is okay right now.My mom had  hasimotos thyroiditsis and thyroid cancer and cervical cancer..Any advice or help would be great,I dont have a Dr right now.Sorry so long!Thanks,Pattymac

I  woke up with a lump on my left clavical a week ago. Never noticed it before but I have recently noticed a major difference in my vision (it is really blurry and i dont normally wear glasses) and I have also had the most intense itching in my scalp along with a big bulge on the back of my neck too. I cant believe none of this is unrelated since it all started at the same time. I went to my primary and I am going for an ultrasound and xrays tomorrow. I asked if the  lump on my clavical was a lymph node but doctor says no, the biggest she seen was a size 3, my lump is 5 x 8.

Ok, so I have the same thing...just not choosing to wait as long as others. I woke up Sunday with this lump on my clavical. Its about the size of an olive and only moves when pressure is applied. When the same pressure is applied it does cause alittle pain but not much. I'm currently without health coverage and can't afford paying the bill that any office is going to charge...  What should I do?? Is this lump serious? I've been checking online and I kinda got myself all freaked out!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!! ANYONE, SOMEONE!!!

The lump has slowly gotten bigger and more firm.Iam not sure what the size is but I guess as round/oval as a quarter. I appreciate your help! Thanks..pattymac

Hi.  I have had lots of patients with lumps over their clavicles and I haven't encountered one which had caused severe headaches.  So my guess is, that lump has nothing to do with the symptoms you're experiencing. How big is that lump, anyway?  If it is progressively enlarging, a biopsy of that mass may need to be done, just to see if it's anything serious.
