Cat Names & Nicknames Thread

Why Not? The Dog forum is having fun with this, so why shouldn't we? :)

Perhaps if someone is looking for a new pet name, they can get it from one of us right out of this ol' thread here.
now, i'm going to list out some names and nicknames in groups, as they come to me. We try to never recycle a name here, which has led to some unusal names over the years (Like the time we took in three tabbys and called them "This, That, (the other) Thing." :)

T.F. (Tiny Friend)

Princess (of course)

Goldie

Bumpers

Ted Ford (Started as Ted-e-Bear, some how became the former)

Nighteyes

Whump (Originally Stumpy due to only half a tail, became "Whump" over time)

Ariel (also Michael, Rahpael, Gabriel and Cassiel (angel of temperance), to name a few in the angel category)

Frannie (Full name is Frannie funny Face)

Groucho

Rosemary, Parsley, Thyme  (there are many, many spices... :)  )

Moonshadow

Mouse

It took me months to think of a name for my little black cat...I finally settled on Atticus, which turned into Atticus Catticus, which turned into Atticus Catticus Finch III, until finally Atticus Kitty Catticus Finch III.  Nicknames include:  Kitty, Catticus, Kitty Catticus, Atticus Catticus, and Mr. Finch Fuzzy-Pants

i had a very loving big headed tabby that i named TJ
we called him Junior after his dad and my daughter who was three at the
time called him "tickles" because his whiskers tickled her
so we combined it inot TJ
he was an excellent companion cat ... the best for an insomniac like me

We call our girl penny gwen which was because she looks like a penguin
her nicknames are:

-penelope
-pen
-penicillin
-poopsil --she poos on the carpet :(
-deadsil --looks dead when she sleeps :p

we call luffy  pronounced loofy vtw
-luffers
-luff-un-kun
-luppy

we call shanks
-shankst
-shanksy

our newest addition jasmine hasnt  adopted many nicknames yet we basically just call little one... or lemur...lol

oh and my wife call them all "my babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy(s)"
