I have rough nights. Last night I was having a wicked nightmare & kicking in my sleep. I started crying & when I woke up Mommy Baby had one paw on me, pretty much all her weight. I think that's what woke me up. I wonder if she learned that from my husband ( when he's home, he wakes me when I start trashing around.
Or maybe it was feline intuitive behavior. This is the first time she's done anything like that, plus she isn't the lap cat type.
I don't know why, but I'm grateful to have such a loving, caring kitty near by in case of trouble. Pamela.
LOL, lucky! :-) I had to actually put a stop there and say 'no more cats!', otherwise I would be the crazy cat lady with 50 cats. Six is perfect: I was able to have all fixed (no kittens, yay!), and vaccinated, and I can feed them. They go in and out of the house by meowing at the door. So, there is always at least one in the house to keep me company--usually 'Cheese', who loves nothing more than to lay all stretched out and twisted up on our couch in the afternoons. Their other names are 'Ford",m, Maine coon; "Dodge",m, Maine coon; "Mischa-Lynn",f, b&w domestic short hair; "Burnout", m, b&w domestic short hair who resembles a cow; and "Pony",f, calico who will let you pet her then turn around and attack you. That's my crew - besides "Highway", canine dane and lab mix, m. He is getting old, and we call him our household lunkhead because he just wants to lay around and get petted. :-) Blessings - Blu
When I need a nap & MommyBaby is near by,I'll get a bandana scarf. Smooth it out at foot of bed. Them she jumps up, resmooths scarf & gets comfortable. That warms my heart. Then I know she's planning to stay with me awhile & take care of me. Kitty Therapy. It helps! Pamela
Hi Blu. Mine too. Sometimes I have rough mornings. It does seem as if she can tell the difference, because on those mornings, she positions her cat body like spooning my calf. I stay very still & meditate. Her name is Mommy Baby.
6 kitty's. you lucky dog! Pamela
I adore my cats. I have six. :-) They are sensitive to when I am not feeling good, and will come lay on me and purr. That is SO soothing. :-)
