Garcia's Final Chapter
So last week we found out that the chemo is not working so we stopped giving it to Garcia. He now has started to bleed from his mouth when he eats, not sure if he has a cut or he's biting his tongue....... I have contacted a vet that come recommended my my oncologist that makes house calls. I'm thinking that these are his last few days. Thank you for everyone that has supported me through this journey with ideas and positive thoughts.
I'm so sorry that you have bad news about your kitty. I remember when my Siamese had to be put to sleep because of colon cancer. She was suffering. I hated to part with the sweet little kitty, but I knew it was the right thing to do.
Hi, I am so sorry that none of us got back to you when you posted yesterday! I know you needed the support! I hope that you and Garcia are holding up. This is such a rough time, but I hope you realize what a wonderful mom you've been to Garcia. You've gone to the ends of the earth for him, and I know he appreciates it. There are not many owners that would go out of their way for their pets like you have!!! Garcia is truly blessed to have you as his mom.

Oh garciallover, I am soooo sorry for this bad news.
You tried all you could do for the poor baby and yes sometimes its just time to let go and that is so darn hard to do.
My Opus...I medicated daily for 3 years and he poked and prodded by vets constantly..but stood up like a trouper for 3 years, than poor little soul finally had enough and just started wasting away.
he slept beside me for 17 yrs...and I layed there with him every night for his last month and prayed he would just go in his sleep
but wasn't to be, when he started to show signs of pain I had to have my vet over and we put him down, he died at home in my arms and I tell you I cried for 3 days.
I know how hard this is and how much you love dear garica...be strong but cry too.
