Thank you for your help!!! I will make her an appointment as soon as possible. She is getting fatter every day yet she is ALWAYS outside running and playing so I think i will have that checked out.She is usually so playful, but now she is laying on my bed 99% of the time being calm and wanting attention. She was spayed at Dr. Robert's Small Animal Clinic. Would you by any chance know of any similar things that have happened there?
You can think about "psicological pregnancy " as well, since you said she already demonstrated wishes of having a kitten...
It happens in animals too, sometimes.
I did hear of a cat that was spayed poorly at a clinic and later came into heat, and when a new vet did a follow-up surgery, she found an ovary that the first vet had left behind. So strange things can happen. I would take kitty to the vet's and ask if there is a possibility of a kitten in there, or if not, what is going on. If your cat had her uterus removed and an ovary was left behind and somehow some sperm reached an egg, she would have an ectopic pregnancy (it's kind of funny to talk about this in relation to cats) and would need medical help when the kitten is ready to come out. It would probably take an X-ray to determine whether she is pregnant, though.
