Kitty With Head Down

Our beloved kitty, Dickens, is 15. Two days ago, he began to walk around slowly with his head down. He's not himself and won't leave my lap or, when in bed, my side.  His tail is also down. He's eating and drinking, but not his usual amount. Help?

Thanks for any thoughts

Hi. When was the last time your baby had blood work? The head and tail down can be a symptom of low potassium levels due to kidney disease.  Has your cat been losing weight and drinking a lot of water?

Please get your cat to the vet asap. Low potassium levels can be deadly!

Hanging the head is never a good thing in a cat.  He might have a heart issue or something else.  Please take him to the vet.
