Hey April2, Purrrr

LOL I don't have guinea pigs. I had one but it died because I lacked knowledge to care for it. It made me sad, so I started reading about them, how they behave and how to properly care for them. I can give advice but only if the question is very basic, like where can I keep my guinea pig, or how small/large can the cage be? You know, basic questions like the one which was asked here on the cats forum.

As for Abby, I will have to go get Sakura to play with him. He is just nonstop. His weight isn't an issue and, mind you, he has a square figure of how fat he is, still he jumps and plays like a little kitten. I suspect he will be getting larger soon. You know how, depending on the breed, some cats can grow up until they're 3 years old? Looks like Ab is headed that way, that clumsy fatso lol. I think our pets will have a wonderful time together. I need to get him a playmate or a pet - yeah, a pet for my cat lol, something like a rabbit or a fish for him to stare at and be mortified for a little bit - My fish died in case you're wondering. So, no more kitty TV. I'm waiting on my betta fry to grow up so that Abby can adopt them LOL.

How's Sakuris doing so far? You need to post pictures of her woman. That cat must be pretty darn big now that she is 1 y.o huh?

I once had a small white dog who got sick with Parvo when he was a puppy. We managed to save him but his senses were a little messed up. He would snap at people for no reason from time to time. At an old age he was poisoned. I never got to see my dogs with the symptoms you mention because people didn't give him time for that, and killed him and my Belgian Shepherd.
Sounds like Willow is, after all, a lucky dog, because as old as he is, he still gets to live with his family and be helped and loved by you.

Give him a huge kiss for me!!!!

Willow's got his good days and bad days. The bad days seem to come more frequently. I've really seen him go downhill this last year, especially the last few months. He struggles to get up after laying down. He struggles on stairs and sometimes falls or stumbles. Sometimes I have to carry him on the stairs because he won't do it. His hair has thinned a little bit. You can really see it on his tail. You can see this little pink tip on the end. It looks kinda funny, lol.
I don't think he hears or sees so well. He also has snarled and snapped at people who accidentally step on him or comes close, which is a little worrisome. He hasn't bitten anyone yet, though. He's getting to be a crabby old man!
That's pretty much it!

Puppy mills...so selfish....and the dogs usually end up suffering the consequences of bad breeding and lack of care. A lot of people rescue pups from puppy mills, but they end up choosing the liability. It's so sad. I need to hear success stories. I don't know why my ma told me about that horrible news. I end up crying or getting upset when I hear about abusive people.

How's Willow doing?

Eww, thanks PrettyKitty. I don't think I needed to hear that! I've already had a rotten enough day today, thanks!
On the flip side, read Guidepost for this month. There's a lady who rescued a puppy from a puppy mill. The dog had to have a leg amputated and was half starved but still kept it's sweet nature. Now she's fighting to spread the word and get all puppies out of puppy mills.
We need to hear more news like that!

My good ol' April, you are welcome to come anytime you like.  During the winter, if you don't like the cold, Florida is a good place to be. Let me just go ahead and talk to Abby, get him ready so he shows his likable side instead of his dark feline side :) Abby will be thrilled.

Did you hear about this lady who used to catch cats on the streets to put them in the oven? STILL ALIVE?
Well now there is another one who got a dog, put him in a cage, and starved him to death for no reason at all. It's currently on the news.

Shoot, girl, you live in Florida, right? Give me any reason to go to Florida and I'm there! I'm dying to get to a beach. So I'll bring my kitty to play with yours and I'll head to the beach. How's that? Just tell me when to come and I'm there!

I know, as soon as they get "fixed" they start gaining weight. The vet told me I HAD TO MAKE AB LOSE WEIGHT. Ha hah hah....yeah right. Since then that darn thing has gained more weight. Ah but he looks so cute thought. Did you notice how I wrote "fixed"? we don't fix them, we make them obese that's what we do LOL. He weighs 13 lbs but he is a little over a year old....not good unless he was a Maine Coon or a Norwegian Forest cat.

So just tell me, can your cat fly? Is she afraid of airplanes? lol I can get her a first class ticket lol I need to get a kitty  to exercise my cat's muscles. I think she'd be perfect for him since they never get tired. So when do we do this lol

I know but my daughter broke my digital camara, lol. The 2nd one! I'm going to get me a new one and hide it! Darn kids.
I think Misha would thank you excessively if you were to get Sakura out of her fur for awhile and wear her out playing with Abby, lol. Sakura still tries to pounce on Misha and roll around with her and it freaks Misha out! There's a lot of hissing and growling before my fraidy cat will finally run away with brat cat chasing after her! Poor Misha. She's my old lady and has no patience for Sakura or any other cat for that matter! She just wants to lay in the sun on my bed. :)
I will try and get some updated photos soon, I promise. I know that one of Sakura I have up is when she was a kitten. She's almost fat now! I don't know how that happened. She was skinny until we got her fixed and then wham! She started getting fat, lol. Oh well, It's not too bad yet. She's slightly under 10 pounds. Misha is more like 11 pounds, I think. My two fat cats, lol.
