STRAY KITTEN W/A DISABILITY!!!!HELP

Ok about a week ago someone left a little kitten on my door step. I took it to work with me becuase i work at a vet and it was determined it was about 2weeks old.Now i dont even know if i am going to keep this kitten so im more of a foster mom for it but i want to make sure it is healthy .The kitten can only see out of one eye because we think it might have been attacked since its other eye wont open.Ive never had a kitty with a disability so i dont know if what im doing at home is good or bad. I have the kitten milk replacement formula becuase it was so young when i got it, it has its own litter box, i  put out wet canned food and mix it sum treats and hard food and it seems to take it very well,it has its own bedding and toys because i think that its too young to play or be around my older cats. My boss which is the vet only told me what to do medically, like it has eye drops that i put in its eyes twice a day, and i have to keep it clean(like any other animal), but other than that no real guidence. So i guess my question is Is there anything else i could do for it?So if anyone has had a disabled pet can you give me some advice.

My neighbors took in a kitten with only one good eye.  She is about 10 yrs now and is a fat old cat because she is an indoor cat.They don't like to let her out because she may not be able to defend herself.

I one eyed cat isn't really all that disabled. We have one here ourselves. It could effect it's personality, but isn't often the deciding factor.

The best I can suggest is give at as calm and loving an environment as possible.

We fostered a totally eyeless cat at one point, and it was an adorable, friendly, frisky little critter. I beleive they even did a write up on the adoption in one of the local papers, making her the poster cat for adopting disabled animals for a while.

Just have your vet check her immediately if there's even a hint of infection spreading to the other eye.
