Should I feel Guilty?

My cat, Aramis, my favorite :) is vying for attention with my computer.  With this new MH system in place, I am on the computer more than ever :)....y'all know what I mean.  Anyway, he is in the house most of the time and he always wants to sit on my lap right in front of my laptop.  I pretty much had him trained to sit, or lay all sprawled out on either arm of the chair.  That worked ok but it did interfere with my typing causing soooo many typos.  Well, now it's even worse.  Because of his body habitat, my laptop actually hangs over part of him. You would think he would get toooo hot in that position.  I know I do!  I love him dearly and hate to put him down when I'm in the middle of a train of thought while typing, I never know when I may lose it completely, the thought I mean.  Should I keep struggling with him on my lap...even though he's quite still and sleeping for the most part...or fear that he's taking it as a sign of rejection if I put him down...on the floor I mean?

You know that is really nice.  It seems like there are not so many men cat lovers as men dog lovers.  My husband likes our dogs but just tolerates the cats.  My dad loved cats and I have a picture of him with his favorite cat, Patsy.  I would love it if my husband loved cats the way I do.  It's really nice, Jade and Nancy that your husbands , and PK's too, really care so much about the  kitties :)

Don't you love seeing a guy being all sweet and caring for his pet like that?  My husband's like that with Jade.  Will do anything for her.  I knew I liked my neighbor (Busters dad) right away when he told me 12yrs ago how he'd had his last dog cremated and spread his ashes where they used to go camping.  Now he has Busters ashes in this beautiful homemade wooden box a buddy of his made for him.  Neighbor just showed me the box yesterday.  Will have a pic of Buster on the front.  Isn't that sweet?

That's what my husband does with one of our cats.  He keeps an extra chair at his desk just for her.  Is she spoiled or what?...LOL

Thank you, ladies.  There is a sofa right next to the chair I usually sit in and I think I'll try to ease him over onto it.  If I put a throw pillow down first it might make for an easy transition. When I put him down on the floor he puts on his sad face with his sad eyes as if to say "don't you ♥ me anymore?"....and y'all are right...they are all spoiled, lol  I guess we wouldn't have it any other way :)

Oh man I have the SAME problem....every time I sit at the computer, they take turns wanting to sit on my lap...or even worse Nemo wants to drape halfway on my body and shoulder...just so I have to hold him up with the left arm(doesn't make for easy typing)
He loves it..falls asleep there while my arm goes numb holding him, I put him down and he sits at my feet whining.....always!
I too feel guilty being on the screen too much and I think they aren't getting enough attention!!!

Oh no honey you don’t have to keep him on your lap while typing. Do what’s comfortable for you. He will be comfy wherever he is at…don’t you see how big he is? Lol…big but beautiful!

I do this with Dillan and Abby. I used to feel bad but it’s just too hard to do anything with them all over you or the computer. That’s when you know you have a spoiled cat hahaha.

Aww don’t feel bad hon. Aramis will not take it the wrong way lol…
