Poor Lady :(

Please help me out with any advice for my cat, Lady. She is about 8 months old. My first cat (my first personal cat. Had cats growing up). I am not extremely up on all the possible issues that cats encounter but I'm not naive either. I don't ignore my gut telling me that something is just off.
So, my dilemma is that my cat is acting different ... but I haven't seen any change in certain signs they say to look for. For ex: she is eating but very little, drinking very little, but she's peeing and pooping normallu, no odors, no changes. She used to be hyper and playful, now she is just chill but no aggression, weird smells, head shaking, or hair loss.  Her belly seems pretty round and low hanging while the rest of her is thin.. already spayed.
I don't know if I'm just worried for no reason about my once playful kitty now being just chill and pot bellied.. but I don't know if these small changes mean something .... I don't want to spend money for paranoia lol... could someone please weigh in on this and telle what you think. Thanks so much!

Hi LL,

I am with AnnieBrooke on this one. Lady is too young not to be playing around. The large belly is concerning to me. If she was not spayed I would say she was having a little kitty clutch of her own.

This could be fluid or like Annie said internal bleeding. Either way it will not be a waste of money to take her to the Vet. Something is Def going on with M'Lady.

Have her seen by a vet as soon as possible . A bloated stomach can be indicative a host of serious medical issues. When cats who love to play stop playing red lights go off.

Hopefully this is something minor, but it needs to be checked by a vet, K?

Please keep us posted. We learn from what You learn.

Sometimes round bellies suggest worms, but worms never slow a cat down like you are describing.  She might have an internal injury with some bleeding, in which case you need to get her to the vet right away.  I don't think it is a bad idea to get her in this week, tomorrow if you can.
