cat vomiting white bile and not eating/drinking

Yesterday my cat seemed a bit off when I came home and I had realized she vomited all her food and water up (and I could see some hairballs). Throughout the night she yowled and threw up white bile that was a little foamy 2 times. Today, I got her some wet food and hairball medicine and fed it to her but she was super disinterested in eating any food or water all day. I thought she was getting better because she slept next to me all night, but again, I woke up to her puking white stuff again. Taking her to the vet today- but anyone know what this is or has experienced this with their cat? Just trying to get any info to help my baby :( I'm 40 weeks and 3 days pregnant, so thankfully I caught this before I have to deliver a baby!

Hello and welcome....

This could be a number of things.  She may of nibbled on something that didn't agree with her especially if she is indoor/outdoor.  Or it could be IBD.

I'm happy to read you'll be taking her to the vet today.  Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks for answering  :)doc said the same thing.  just got back from the vet and they did X-rays and blood tests. Gave her fluids and some anti nausea medication and she seems pretty lethargic still but she ate a little! They said they’d get back to me tomorrow with blood test results and go from there. At least we’re on the right path to getting her better
It sounds like the anti-nausea med is already working.  Try giving her a little tuna juice on her food to stimulate her appetite.  Or even just a small amt of tuna itself.  Tuna shouldn't be given to kitty ALL the time, but a good 'go to' in an emergency.  Because once cats stop eating, they often need a little help to get going again.  You could also present the tuna water; see if she will lap that up which will help with both hydration And appetite.

Please update with the blood results.  Fingers crossed all comes back normal!
