I have no idea if its ok or no giving eggs for cats but at the very first days of Loreena at home I had no cat food here yet and one of the things she ate was the white part of cooked eggs - I dont eat those. Not sure if she would do it again, but she enjoyed that since I put some shrimp heads together .
Something tells me she will eat stones if smelling shrimp...
Poor one guess she fell in love for me for that - and now only eat "correct food"
:-)
Thank you very much for ur fast response...
Its good news for me and Yoko my cat.
Regards
In all my years, I've never had a cat that liked eggs, at least, by themselves.
I shouldn't think that eggs are bad for cats...one would suppose that their ancestors and feral cousins would most certainly eat birds' eggs, if afforded the opportunity.
Our kitties are, still at heart, predators and physiologically are obligate carnivores.
I shouldn't think that any food from animal sources would be bad for them, save in excess.
take care - Pip
